Why revisited in 2022?
Make no mistake! I loved my visit to Iceland and would go back in a heartbeat, every minute was enjoyable. Perhaps the weather suited me, some snow flurries and cold but no rain. Wind was another matter, apparently in Iceland a good day is a day without wind.
Reykjavik was great, my hotel was comfortable and convenient with lovely and helpful staff. Particularly in the evening with all the lights the streets were marvellous to walk around and enjoy.
Video revisited! Although Reykjavik and the other parts of Iceland I visited were spectacular my happy bubble was burst when EasyJet cancelled my flight home ruining the remainder of my holiday and causing untold stress and upset.
I was alone and abandoned in a foreign country.
Easyjet, it seems, have learned nothing. I have just returned from a visit to Amsterdam only to find that EasyJet have meted out the same treatment to Amsterdam customers recently.
This is part one, I am splitting the original video to hopefully better show the impact of the cancellation in a part two.
