Part Two
Following on from previous post this video gives an insight into what its like when EasyJet cancels your flight home and the service they provide thereafter.
The hotel was 40 minutes walk from the nearest supermarket that I was aware of, not an issue for me ordinary but the fierce wind could bring in changes in weather during that 80 minutes plus shopping time.
The provided hotel, although isolated, was fine for me. No so much for someone with children or other considerations. It was a converted barracks previously used by the Americans during WW2, I think they built the airport just as we British built one on Faroe Islands.
In this remake I noticed that I did not take my camera out during my stay courtesy of EasyJet, such was the impact on my well being. I seemed to use only my phone.
I have not been tempted to fly with EasyJet since. Admittedly, this is due in part to their new luggage regulations.
