When I first built this computer I couldn’t afford the Graphic card prices at the time. I opted to save money by purchasing a processor with built in graphics. AMD Ryzen & 7700x.
I enjoy photography and a bit of video editing. I became obvious, especially for video editing, that the onboard graphics was not up to the task. This was particularly obvious since I had taken an interest in Black Magic DaVinci Resolve. A graphics upgrade was needed.
My motherboard was PCIe 5 but graphics cards were prohibitively expensive if available. I opted for Nvidia GeForce RTX3060 being the cheapest stop gap GPU.
As time progressed and DaVinci Resolve became more challenging I spent my savings on the newly released ASUS RX9070 graphics card. So Far so Good.
