Mount Stewart is located not far from where we live, it is one of the top National Trust locations in Northern Ireland. As it is near we visit frequently although not much in recent times due to their Covid arrangements.
Apart from the house there are a number of walks, trails and gardens. The loop around the lake is particularly lovely.
My visit on this occasion, 21 September, could see the beginnings of Autumn but it had not yet arrived.
