Day 4 begins with The British Museum. Its massive, you could get lost and never be seen again! Its such a pity schools don’t make history, particularly our own, more interesting. It did take me some time to arrive as I didn’t take into account closures on Northern line when choosing my route.
Next stop was lunch at Camden Lock. It’s a lovely area and well worth a visit for the variety it offers. So many different shops and places to eat, hours can be spent here exploring the area. I really enjoyed To Home From London as it had some products referencing the regions of the United Kingdom.
My final task of the day was to walk along the South Bank in reverse direction to the first night. Westminster to Tower Bridge. It gives a different perspective to this lovely walk. Finished off with a walk along memory lane at St Katherine’s dock where some years ago we spent an afternoon watching Wimbledon on a screen seeing Andy Murray clinch the title. We had obtained tickets for the previous day at Wimbledon and got to see Heather Watson play.
