February visit to London. Trying out a couple of new things. Battersea Power Station newly opened interior, well worth a visit. Such a unique conversion with stacks of space, just don’t forget to pack your credit card as the wide selection of shops tend to be on the upmarket side of things.

What I found strange, given the extensive amount of space available, was how small the coffee shops were. I couldn’t get a seat in Starbucks or Pret, but found a seating area outside to enjoy my lunch.

Battersea Power Station area is again spacious with riverside walks and other available offerings.

One of the folk I follow on Youtube @hannahricketts had posted a video on the Tower Bridge attraction, I visited and was impressed. Many many steps!

From Heathrow I tried the Elizabeth line for the first time. £14 from Heathrow to Blackfriars. Impressive but rickety with a brick hard seat. Unfortunately I did not take the line within London so can’t comment on what that portion would be like.

My show for the trip was “The Mousetrap”. I was aware of the show but had never looked into the plot. I was surprised and yet disappointed at the plot twist. Perhaps because the actor playing the detective had provided such a convincing performance that the plot  twist when I came was unbelievable.

As always London didn’t disappoint.
